More folks jump on the anti-Debito bandwagon!

Sorry it's been a while - consulting can be a feast or famine sort of gig and when it's feast you take as much as you can physically handle...

Anyway one of Debito's pet projects for the last few months has been a Nigerian bar owner who raped a girl in his bar. Debito rides in on his muddy brown horse and smears shit all over. And when the court transcript gets read by someone who actually reads Japanese it turns out that:

1. contrary to his ascertations there was physical evidence - the lady in question had genital injuries that she sought medical attention for

2. the Nigerian bar owner admitted to trying to have sex with her 2x in the bar and then feeling her up in the car on the way to wherever he was going to drop her off at

Now Debito's comment is "why would she get into the car with someone who had just tried to rape her?" Well, obviously Debito has never delt with rape victims who often feel that somehow what happened to them was their fault not the rapist's fault. Never mind that part of the charge was that he tried to have sex with someone who was so drunk they couldn't consent in the first place...

BUT worst of all Debito deleted the court transcript off his website because it didn't mesh with his version of the facts. Whoops - this is the same person who's been all over Tony Laszlo's case for deleting the "historical record". Pretty damned hypocritcal and if I have time I'll dig up Debito's comments on how he feels about hypocrits (needless to say he's not fond of them).

Anyway - check out the comments here:

Particularly Debito's response here:
IF THE RAPE DID IN FACT OCCUR IN THE BAR AS THE ACCUSER TESTIFIED, HOW CAN THEY BE ON FRIENDLY-ENOUGH TERMS TO GET IT ON IN THE CAR AFTERWARDS? THIS IS A PRETERNATURAL RELATIONSHIP. HOLES ALL OVER THE PLACE IN THE ACCUSER’S TESTIMONY, SO YOU MUST GO BY PHYSICAL EVIDENCE. THERE ISN’T ANY. THERE’S ONLY THIS CONFESSION, OBTAINED THROUGH DECEPTION.
