There is a sickness in Japan. It takes the form of unhappy westerners who come over thinking that somehow being a teacher is a respected profession in Japan. When they discover that is not the case, that the Japanese actually know they aren't really teachers they're just trained monkeys who were fortunate enough to be born in a country with English as the native language, they become bitter and angry complaining that the country isn't the way it should be.
