Yes, I've had it up to here and decided that the only way to combat his Debitoness is to put up a blog posting to the world the hypocrisy, idiocy, and general asshattedness that is Dave Aldwinckle aka Arudou Debito aka Jank#1.
Here are 2 good rumors. Now they're only rumors, I can't confirm it or deny them, but since the former usenet broke the story of Debito's divorce more than a year before it became public knowledge I thought I would go ahead and see if these stories have legs too.
#1. Rumor has it that a certain Debito has decided that since Japanese family courts have no real teeth to enforce divorce orders and since he does not agree with how the children he abandoned are being raised that he no longer needs to pay for their support. Yep, rumor has it that Debito has become a deadbeat dad. Now I can understand that an Eikawa teacher, particularly one in his early 40's doesn't make a lot of money. And I know that Debito takes a lot of trips around Japan which can't be cheap on his salary. But stopping your child support? For shame...
#2. Rumor also has it that last year when Debito legally changed his name after his divorce (his former legal name was Sugawara ArudouDebito) it seems he decided that his children should have his new moniker too. It also seems he neglected to tell his former wife about this change which led to some problems with her getting the benefits for the kids since no one using the name she had for them was registered...
